S-FRAME ANALYSIS

S-FRAME® ANALYSIS is an easy-to-use 4D structural modeling and analysis management program developed to meet the needs of thousands of structural engineers worldwide for moment frames, braced frames, trusses, bridges, office and residential buildings, skyscrapers, industrial buildings, plate/shell structures, cable structures etc. It offers enhanced support for seismic load analysis, staged construction (4D analysis with discrete increments in time), concrete slab design, 2nd-order analysis for the new AISC 360-10 specification to account for P-Delta effects, Direct Analysis Method, linear and nonlinear static and time history analyses, moving load analysis, buckling load evaluation, and much more. With its numerous productivity tools, advanced analyses, variety of material models, flexible load combination methods, and fast and accurate solver technology S-FRAME® allows users to evaluate their structural designs using high-fidelity models under a large combination of environmental conditions to yield robust designs: designs that are less sensitive to loading conditions and deviations from intended design during construction. S-FRAME® Analysis is fully integrated with our Steel and Concrete design programs S-STEEL™ and S-CONCRETE™ as well as with Revit®, Tekla®, TEDDS® and it also produces output for Microsoft Word®.

S-FRAME ® (Structural Analysis)

S-STEEL™ DESIGN, a fully integrated add-on component to S-FRAME® ANALYSIS, is an interactive and automated design and analysis tool for structural steel members, plate girders and tapered plate girders. S-STEEL™ features code checking and auto-design to multiple design codes for both strength and serviceability for a complete structural model, or just part of it. Release 10.0 supports the following design codes: AISC 360-10 & 360-05 LRFD/ASD, AISC ASD 89, AISC LRFD 94, CSA-S16-2001 & 2009, CSA-S16.1-M94, BS 5950:1990 & 2000, EC3:2005, AS 4100-1998, NZS 3404:1997. S-STEEL™ provides the user with full control of the design conditions and offers unparalleled quality of design reports that include interactive formulas, equations, and graphics.

S-PAD™ DESIGN is a new stand-alone application with a simple spreadsheet-like interface to S-STEEL™'s powerful steel-design and code check capabilities. With S-PAD™ you can quickly check a column, beam or brace without the need to build a complete detailed model. Simply input design loads and effective lengths of the steel elements - be it beams, columns or braces – then run that quick check in seconds, or even better, run an auto-design to identify an optimum section. Included within S-PAD™ is advanced code checking capabilities and auto-design to all the design codes supported by S-STEEL for both strength and serviceability.

S-CONCRETE™ DESIGN is an intuitive and highly interactive section design and detailing tool for reinforced concrete beams, columns and walls which can be used either standalone or integrated with S-FRAME®. It can perform flexure, shear and torsion design subjected to biaxial bending with axial force and it features code checking and auto-design to multiple design codes for a wide range of section types including: T-beams, L-beams, rectangular beams and slabs, slab bands, circular and rectangular columns, columns with holes, composite columns, and shear walls subjected to wind and earthquake forces. S-CONCRETE™ generates axial load and moment interaction diagrams and moment-curvature diagrams with pre-stressing strands and it can perform earthquake resistant design and detailing including boundary elements for shear walls. Release 10.0 supports the following design codes: ACI 318-08, 05, 02, & 99, CSA A23.3-04 & 94, BS 8110:1997 & 1985, UBC 1997, CP 65:1999.  

 

S-CONCRETE (Concrete Section Design and Detailing)

S-LINE™ DESIGN is an intuitive and powerful standalone application for the analysis, design and detailing of continuous reinforced concrete beams. It features code checking and automated design and detailing to multiple design codes for a variety of section types including: T-beams, L-beams, rectangular beams, and slab bands. Code checking includes strength and serviceability requirements for short- and long-term (cracked section) deflection estimations. S-LINE™ can automatically generate pattern loading and load combinations with the option to perform moment redistribution. It generates graphical output including capacity envelopes on shear, moment, and torsion diagrams. Release 10.0 supports the following design codes: ACI 318-08, 05, 02, & 99, CSA A23.3-04 & 94, BS 8110:1997 & 1985, CP 65:1999 and it also supports fiber-reinforced concrete (ACI 318-08) which can significantly reduce the amount of minimum shear reinforcement requirement..

S-LINE (Concrete Continuous Beam Design and Detailing)

Ultimate productivity tool for the day-to-day repetitive calculations.  The software replaces hand written calculations and is a standard tool for thousands of engineers around the world.  TEDDS ® includes a comprehensive and ever-expanding library of civil and structural engineering calculations for a variety of materials and structural forms.
